Forevermark traces each diamond along its journey, ensuring strict business, environmental and social standards are met at every step. Sourcing Forevermark diamonds responsibly means that throughout their journey from rough to polished diamonds, particular care has been taken to ensure responsible business practices, support for the advancement of women and protection of the natural world, which is the ultimate source of Forevermark diamonds.
Exclusive Licensed Designs
Selected by hand, less than 1% of the world’s diamonds are eligible to become a Forevermark diamond. What are GIA diamonds?
Objective International Grading
GIA diamonds are natural diamonds that are graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which is the industry’s leading independent third party grading laboratory. As a nonprofit organisation, GIA is the pioneer in creating the Diamond 4Cs and the International Diamond Grading System™, which to-date are still the universal benchmarks by which all diamonds are judged.
While it is common for diamonds to be graded by other laboratories such as IGI and HRD, GIA remains the world’s most recognised source of grading to assure consumers of a diamond’s score against the 4Cs.
Democratization of diamonds, transparent pricing
GIA’s diamond grading democratises diamond selection for consumers, so you as a consumer have the choice to prioritise how to buy diamonds based on your own preferences of the 4Cs, and to compare one GIA-graded diamond to another objectively.
When you purchase natural diamond that comes with a GIA diamond grading report (or known colloquially as certification), you have an unbiased assessment of a stone’s quality characteristics. A GIA grading report is what the insurance industry refers to as a basis for insuring your diamond, and what the diamond industry recognises worldwide for the resale of any diamond.
