Diamond & Platinum, a leading fine jeweller in Malaysia since 1999, was delighted to share an exciting event organised in conjunction with Pink October month, powered by JomRun, a renowned Run and Ride organizer, for the highly-anticipated event, "Pink Spark: Uniting for a Cause." A total sum of more than RM 140,000 was spent to fund the event and donation dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and made a powerful impact last Sunday (October, 22nd 2023). With the noble objective of promoting awareness and support, Diamond & Platinum joined hands with esteemed partners; Pavilion Bukit Jalil, National Cancer Society Malaysia, Majlis Sukan Negara and their sports figures to create an unforgettable experience

The primary beneficiary of this remarkable initiative was the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), an organization dedicated to raising public awareness on the prevention, screening and early detection of cancer through education. Through "Pink Spark: Uniting for a Cause," Diamond & Platinum donated a grand total of RM30,000 as charitable funds to assist in the awareness and efforts of NCSM. During the Pink Spark event, NCSM supported the cause by giving screening for hepatitis B and hepatitis C, along with iFOBT for colorectal cancer, blood sugar test, and clinical breast examination, and an amazing performance of Line Dance by the Pink survivors.
To further elevate the event, Diamond & Platinum invited Malaysia’s national dynamic sports figures, Datuk Shalin, Datuk Mike Mehan, and Ho Ying as Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) representatives, to join us in officiating the flag-off ceremony together with Mr Leslie Choong, Director of Diamond & Platinum and Stephanie Mak, Assistant General Manager, Marketing of Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Their support added a unique dimension to the event, emphasizing the importance of mental and physical health in your general well-being. Their involvement reflected the event's core message of unity and solidarity. Last but not least, Scha Al-Yahya, Malaysia’s renowned celebrity and top fashion icon also made an appearance to show her devotion and support to the cause

In conjunction to Pink October month and our third consecutive years working with National Cancer Society Malaysia, Diamond & Platinum is hosting this marvellous Pink Spark -Ride & Run event together with Jom Run with supporting partners Pavilion Bukit Jalil and Majlis Sukan Negara to raise donation and awareness to battle cancer. "Pink Spark: Uniting for a Cause" was not just an event; it was a movement. This event brought together individuals, families, friends, and communities to create a powerful force for change. Breast cancer affected countless lives, and by uniting for a cause, we aimed to make a significant impact. As per NCSM tagline; Celebrating Life, Pink Spark Event aims to educate and to minimise cancer in Malaysia by raising public awareness on the prevention, screening, and early detection of cancer through education. There were varieties of activities, including a charity run, interactive workshops, inspirational talks, and entertainment to engage, inform, and inspire attendees. It served as a platform for sharing stories of resilience and survival, providing a positive message of hope to everyone. The event celebrates the extraordinary achievements in the seemingly ‘ordinary’ lives of the women of today especially—tough, beautiful, and resilient, just like natural diamond.
